When most business owners talk about growth, they default to strategy: think marketing funnels, sales scripts, content calendars. And yep, all most of that has its place. But there’s a piece of the puzzle almost everyone overlooks, and that's the space you work in.

I recently had an incredible conversation with Feng Shui and Space Healing Master, Danijela Saponjic, founder and creative visionary behind Unfolding Space,  on my podcast Rewild Your Business. And it cracked something open for me. Her words: “Feng Shui isn’t something you do, it’s something you become.”

Oof, that hit hard. Because it’s the same truth I teach my clients about business: success isn’t performative. It isn’t about ticking boxes or following formulas. It’s about alignment. And alignment doesn’t stop with your vision, your messaging, or your offers. It extends into the physical spaces where you live and work.

This is where feng shui for business growth comes in - not as a trendy gimmick, but as a practical way to let your environment support the business you’re building.

Why Your Environment Matters More Than You Think

Let’s get real for a second.

If your desk faces a wall, and every time you look up you’re staring into blank plaster, how expansive do you think you’ll feel about the future of your business? If your office is crammed with outdated files, books you’ll never read, and paperwork you’ve been meaning to shred since 2021, how clear do you think your mind will be when you sit down to create something new?

Your environment isn’t neutral. It’s constantly feeding you messages, reinforcing habits, shaping your energy. It can hold you hostage in your past, OR it can become an active ally in calling in the future you’re creating.

It's nothing to do with aesthetic minimalism for Instagram... it’s about power.

The Hidden Potential in Your Space

Feng shui, at its heart, is about energy flow. And whether or not you believe in ancient traditions, here’s the plain truth: when your space flows, so does your work.

Think about the last time you cleared out a cupboard or tidied up your desk. Didn’t you feel lighter? More motivated? More open? That’s not coincidence. That’s your environment shifting, and your energy shifting with it.

Danijela told me a story about clearing clutter in her early twenties. Within two days, unexpected money showed up in her account and a new apartment became available. Was that magic? Or was it simply her space aligning with her next chapter? Either way, the lesson is the same: when you make space, life rushes in to fill it.

And if you’re serious about business growth, why wouldn’t you give yourself every advantage?

Feng Shui for Business Growth: Practical Shifts

Now, let’s talk about what this looks like in practice. Here are some unapologetically simple ways you can start using feng shui principles to support your business growth:

1. Face Your Future, Not a Wall

Where you position your desk matters. Sitting with your back to the door? That’s energy leaking out behind you. Staring at a wall? That’s limitation every time you look up. Position yourself where you can see the room, the door, the windows. It’s about opening your field of vision, and therefore your sense of possibility.

2. Clear Out Yesterday

That pile of “stuff” in the corner? It’s not harmless. It’s a shrine to procrastination. The books you’ll never read, the files you’ll never reference, the outdated client notes? They’re tying you to who you were, not who you’re becoming. Clear them out. Create physical proof that you’re making space for what’s next.

3. Create Invitations, Not Pressure

Here’s the subtle difference: are you 'forcing' growth by cramming your space with vision boards and affirmations you don’t even feel connected to? Or are you inviting growth by making space and letting your environment breathe? Feng shui in alignment feels like an open hand, not a clenched fist.

4. Make Wealth Personal

Forget cookie-cutter statues or symbols that don’t mean anything to you. What does wealth look like, feel like, smell like for you? Is it fresh flowers? A framed photo from a trip that made you feel abundant? A certain scent or candle? That’s your wealth anchor, not someone else’s version...

For Coaches and Entrepreneurs: A Missing Piece

Most of my audience are coaches and purpose-led entrepreneurs, and here’s the harsh truth: we’re working in a saturated industry. If you want to stand out, it’s not enough to just have another process or framework. Your clients want results. Fast, meaningful, lasting results.

And guess what? Their environment either accelerates or sabotages those results.

Imagine coaching someone on their big vision while they’re working in a home office that screams 'old life'. Misaligned desk, clutter everywhere, energy stuck in the past. That’s friction. And no amount of mindset work will fully override it.

But if you help them align their environment with their vision? Suddenly the space itself is holding that vision with them. That’s leverage. That’s transformation. And that’s where feng shui for business growth stops being “woo” and starts being a strategy.

The Real Growth Strategy Nobody Talks About

If you’re ignoring your environment, you’re making business harder than it needs to be.

You don’t need a new funnel or another course right now. You need to ask yourself: is my space working with me or against me? Is it holding me back in yesterday, or pulling me forward into tomorrow?

Because business growth isn’t just about what you do out there. It’s also about what you’re surrounded by in here.

And that’s why I believe feng shui for business growth isn’t an optional extra. It’s foundational. It’s part of the soil your business grows in.

Rewild Your Space, Rewild Your Business

Rewilding your business is about cutting away what doesn’t belong so what does can thrive. Feng shui is the same. It’s not about performing success. It’s about creating space where success feels inevitable.

So if you’re stuck, stagnant, or just craving the next level of expansion, don’t just tweak your offers or polish your brand. Look around you. The hidden potential for growth might be sitting right there in your environment, waiting for you to notice.

Your space is speaking. The question is: are you listening?
